Our music programming (24 hour formats) are designed to air continuously 24 hours a day. They include: “KEN. Rocken’ Hits.” (90’s-2000, Rock/Pop), “SuperKountry“ (the best kountry from the 80’s and 90’s with classics tossed in), “THE TRAIN” (70’s and 80’s rock & pop), and “MyXrocks” (mostly 90’s/alternative).
Our “short form” music programming is available in 3 hour increments. They include: “The Kountry Playhouse“ (a big variety of 80’s and 90’s kountry), “Ken’s Klassics” (60’s, 70’s and 80’s kountry), “Daily Hitmakers” (rock & pop from the 80’s and 90’s, mixed with select classic rock), “KeN Michaels” (90’s-2000 Rock with select classics). Each one of these ”short form” (daypart) programs are available hosted by Ken Michaels or can be customized for you daily using your own voice talent.
Our weekend “short form” programs are also 3 hours in length. They include: “Ken’s Top 10” (a listener chosen top 10) with Ken Michaels. “Ken’s Top 10” is available in rock (90’s-2000) and kountry (80’s and 90’s).
”Sunday Escape” features a big variety of “laid back” late 70’s, 80’s and early 90’s rock & pop and is intended for Sunday nights. It’s available host by Ken or customized using your own vocal talent.
Customized “local news” is available for your specific state and local area. Ken does 3 cuts per station, recorded. 1 for mornings, 2nd for noon and the 3rd is for the ride home. Each cut is 3 minutes.
Ken also offers the same “news package” live at designated times for mornings, midday and afternoon drive. Time slot availability is on a first come, first serve basis.
Digitally Kennected’s “weathercast” is done in the same way. Ken customizes the forecast for your specific area. He voices 3, 60 second cuts for mornings, 3, 30 second cuts for midday and 3, 30 second cuts going into the evening.
The live versions are done at specific predetermined times and Ken “carrys on” with your talent. The live versions are available on a first come, first serve basis.
Severe weather coverage (pre-storm) is generally recorded and Ken offers all the details in a 2 minute report. If you choose the “live storm package”, Ken starts reporting as the storm is moving into your area and doesn’t conclude the report until the storm has completely exited the area. He also does conference calls with local officials and concludes the live coverage with any power outages or damage reports

From his early years Ken wanted to be on the radio. One night, he called the radio station (WOKK Meridian, MS) and won guest DJ. At the age of 8 he was the guest DJ the next night. He loved it, his passion for radio was outstanding. Talking with his dad, dad suggested, “why don’t you see if you can get a part time job on the radio, I’ll drive you back and forth.” Ken jumped on the phone and started calling Van Mac, the program Director of WOKK. There was no openings. He called for months.
Then he tried a different station, WMOX, where Program Director, Noel Adcock hired him on the spot. Ken would run the local controls for all MSU Sports.
By 13, Van at WOKK had an opening for an overnight weekend DJ. Van called Noel and inquired. Ken took the gig and at the age of 13 had his own overnight weekend show from 100,000 watt, WOKK, Meridian, MS.
